Strengthening Strategic Role in Aviation & Tourism Industry, IAS Holds Economic Outlook Forum 2026

IAS Gelar Forum Economic Outlook 2026

JAKARTA, September 25, 2025 – PT Integrasi Aviation Solusi or InJourney Aviation Services (IAS), a sub-holding of InJourney, reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening its strategic role in the national aviation and tourism sectors by organizing the Economic Outlook Forum 2026. The event was held in collaboration with resource speakers from Bank Mandiri and Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) at Nawasena Mandiri University, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta. It was attended by the Board of Commissioners and Directors of IAS, IAS Group Commissioners and Directors, IAS Group Committee representatives, and Bod-1 IAS Group.

Carrying the theme “Unlocking Opportunities in Aviation & Tourism Industry”, the forum featured distinguished speakers including Leo Putera Rinaldy, Chief Economist of Bank Negara Indonesia, and Andre Simangunsong, Head of Mandiri Institute at Bank Mandiri. The forum served as a strategic platform to formulate sustainable business policies and strategies, aligning with InJourney Group’s vision to build a more adaptive, innovative, and globally competitive aviation and tourism ecosystem.

In his remarks, IAS President Director, Wendo Asrul Rose, emphasized that the forum was designed as a strategic discussion space to collectively review the dynamics of both national and global economies, and to explore how new opportunities in aviation and tourism could be seized to drive more sustainable business growth.

“We realize that aviation and tourism industries are among the key economic drivers, not only enhancing connectivity but also strengthening Indonesia’s tourism ecosystem. Through collaboration, innovation, and the right strategies, I believe we can transform the challenges of 2026 into opportunities to move forward,” he stated.

The Economic Outlook Forum 2026 discussed several strategic topics, including macroeconomic projections for 2026 and their impact on aviation and tourism, digital transformation to support operational efficiency in airports and airlines, as well as opportunities and challenges within the tourism and aviation sectors. The forum also highlighted the importance of enhancing connectivity and infrastructure to support the growth of Indonesia’s priority destinations.

Aviation and tourism are proven to contribute significantly to national economic growth. Data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) shows that the recovery of the tourism sector post-pandemic has driven steady growth in air passenger traffic, averaging 10–20% per year. IAS plays a vital role in supporting this positive trend through international-standard services in ground handling, cargo & logistics, operations support, and hospitality.

Through the Economic Outlook Forum 2026, IAS aims to strengthen its position as an enabler of national aviation industry growth, while supporting InJourney Group’s vision of positioning Indonesia as a world-class tourism destination.
